1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using M-Charity (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including administrators, charities, groups, donors, and volunteers.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Providing accurate and complete registration information

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with parental or guardian consent.

3. Charities and Groups

Charity organizations and groups registering on M-Charity agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their organization, mission, and needs
• Use donations and funds in accordance with stated purposes
• Respond to donor inquiries in a timely manner
• Maintain transparency in financial reporting
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Donations

When making a donation through M-Charity:

• All donations are final unless otherwise required by law
• You confirm that you have the legal right to make the donation
• Charities and groups are responsible for providing receipts
• Donations must be used for their stated charitable purposes
• We are not responsible for how recipient organizations use funds

5. Events

Event organizers are responsible for:

• The accuracy of all event information
• Cancellation or modification notifications to participants
• Providing a safe and lawful event environment
• Complying with all applicable health and safety regulations

M-Charity is not liable for event cancellations, changes, or any issues arising from event participation.

6. Payments and Fees

M-Charity facilitates donations through various payment methods including bank transfer and mobile money. Currently, there are no platform fees for users. However, we reserve the right to introduce reasonable fees in the future with prior notice.

• All payment transactions are processed securely
• Payment verification typically takes 24-48 hours
• Chargebacks or disputed transactions will be investigated

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

• Engage in any illegal activity
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
• Collect user information without consent

8. Intellectual Property

All content on M-Charity, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of M-Charity or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, M-Charity and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of data or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Any actions taken by third parties

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless M-Charity and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.
